Thalassa in Munich

After we have always enjoyed going to Thalassa, we have now also fetched takeaway food in lockdown. As always, it was delicious and very well packaged for transport. We also got baguettes, parmesame and 2 small desserts with the food we ordered. Great price-performance ratio!

I've been here 4 times now. Today the service was solala. Drinks order not taken properly, then annoyed when I said it. At the second drink order, the eyebrows were annoyed. Several times pointed out that I wanted to pay. Everyone next to the table got an ouzo at the end on the house, we didn't. Unfortunately I have to say that most of the waiters here are quite arrogant. Sorry, but that's the way it is, and not for the first time. A few are very nice. It's a shame because the prices are not necessarily cheap. Calf's liver was hidden under a mountain of onions. I don't think I will spend my money here again.

The food was very tasty! We like the atmosphere very much. The very friendly staff was particularly striking. The main course came before we were done with the starter, hence a star deduction.

Great food and great service!

The Thalassa is an upscale Greek restaurant that we love to visit. The lamb fillet in particular is recommended, but the other dishes are also very tasty. Always my pleasure!

Food alright but not the step up from normal Greek food which would be expected at their price points.

One of the best restaurants I have been so far. Extremely delicious food. Gr8 choice of sea food. The pits bread was awesome. Good wine. Easily accessible from ostbahnhof and trudering. I would recommend for any greek food lover.

Great time. It was a little busy and the wait between dishes was slow but the food was fantastic and they were very liberal with the drinks! A little limited for vegan options but had the fava (humous) and vine leaves which were amazing. The Ratatouille for main was yummy but a little too oily for me.

Very good food (I went there before), but when I wanted to drop in to drink a tea and read a little - the restaurant was 3/4 empty - the owner very rudely kicked me out. I'm honestly at a loss at what about me angered the host (maybe he didn't like the way I looked?), but I know that neither I or my family will be going there again.

Greek restaurant located outside the center city but worth the trip! Large premises, and friendly staff. Food quality was excellent but a bit on the pricier side. I was here as part of a large group (40 people) and the experience was pleasant. Would recommend!

The place is upscale and the food was good. Not very many varieties on the Greek salads, missed the pomegranate salad on the list which could be famous only to a particular region in Greece. Octopus, dolmadilos, zaziki, seafood grill were great dishes and gyros on the cheaper food side. €€€°° but worth it.

The staff is absolutely marvelous, the dining area is clean and spacious and most importantly, the Greek food is DELICIOUS! The food is expensive - but when I think about the quality of food and the service, I will not mind returning there again. (I just won't be returning on a weekly basis.)

Excellent food and service

Fantastic Greek food. Upon arriving we were greeted by many of the wait staff and promptly served an Ouzo to start off the evening meal. We had a few shared appetizers with various pastes and fried vegetables and then two servings of grilled Pulpo which was absolutely delicious. Main course was the fish platter for three people which was also fresh and delicious.

Every time I visit Munich Thalasa restaurant is a must visit and dine in for me . There a lot of great things make Thalasa a special place. Great restaurant with a superb atmosphere. The dishes are quite large and tasty. I'd appreciate they had more vegetarian options.
